N O T E S
Wee Willie Winkie –A Mother Goose rhyme set to music. Listen as Willie “runs through the town,” misbehaving by knocking on windows and bothering everyone, before eventually running off.
Flamingo Dancers – The left hand takes on the role of a dancer’s stomping feet in this avian version of a Spanish Flamenco dance, while the right hand plays the “fla-MIN-go” rhythm.
Hippo Swimming – Listen for the heavy landing when he takes a leap, and the notes stepping downward as he “dives down deep.”
Rainy Days are Special – Staccatos sound like raindrops as the words describe how a teacher makes rainy days something to look forward to.
Parrot Talk – A conversation between a sassy parrot and a human.
Little Boy Blue – Another Mother Goose rhyme: “Little Boy Blue, come blow your horn…” Listen for the horn echoes.
